Responsibilities
As an
Outside Plant Engineer, you will support all phases of telecommunications engineering, project coordination, field validation, and technical operations. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge.
In addition, you will: Track new projects to maintain accurate project visibility.
Coordinate schedules and assign work to subcontractors with the Construction Supervisor.
Manage project documentation and ensure requirements are met for timely closeout.
Order and monitor locate tickets and support permitting readiness for assigned projects.
Communicate project updates, delays, and issues with leadership and stakeholders.
Review subcontractor documentation and escalate quality or compliance issues.
Load approved estimates into Oracle and support invoicing, debrief reporting, and job code accuracy.
Complete all necessary paperwork promptly.
Train and mentor new team members.
Track time and job completion progress.
Keep the job site organized and ensure proper restoration at project completion.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications

You thrive in long-term projects and fast-paced environments.
You communicate clearly with teams, subcontractors, and leadership.
You are comfortable working in both office and field environments.
You're experienced in telecommunications outside plant engineering or construction.
You have 2-5+ years of relevant telecom, OSP, or infrastructure project experience.
You can learn and navigate software systems and customer blueprints.
