Location: Vienna, Virginia (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyst to provide support for system updates, planned releases, issue resolution efforts, and business initiatives. This role is responsible for helping ensure that business requirements are met and that system changes function as expected before implementation. The position plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards, reducing operational risk, improving testing efficiency, and supporting the successful delivery of system initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, test cases, test scripts, and supporting documentation.
  • Create comprehensive, repeatable, and well-structured test cases that align with business requirements and support future automation efforts.
  • Ensure test cases are automation-ready by following established standards, maintaining clear test steps, expected results, and reusable test assets.
  • Review and validate business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure complete testing coverage.
  • Execute testing activities for system updates, enhancements, defect resolutions, releases, and business initiatives.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate issues discovered during testing.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project teams to resolve testing-related issues and ensure requirements are met.
  • Evaluate testing processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and automation readiness.
  • Support testing efforts across multiple initiatives and prioritize activities to meet project timelines.
  • Provide regular testing status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Maintain testing documentation, evidence, and audit artifacts in accordance with compliance and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), quality assurance, or business validation. This includes proven experience developing high-quality UAT test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios. Experience should also cover reviewing business requirements, executing functional and regression testing, and working in Agile environments.

Experience using test management and defect tracking tools is necessary. An understanding of automated testing concepts and experience designing test cases with automation readiness in mind are also required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting fraud prevention, fraud operations, risk management, or financial services organizations.
  • Experience working with automation testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of test case design techniques and testing best practices.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining automation-ready testing assets.
  • Familiarity with continuous testing and quality management processes.
  • Experience supporting complex system implementations and production releases.
  • Experience with compliance, audit, and governance requirements related to testing activities.
