Technical Support Specialist

Onsite, Downtown Chicago

6 Month, W2, Contract Coworker role with CDW

CDW is seeking a customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to provide both phone-based and in-person IT support to end users. This role is responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, responding to service desk calls, and delivering excellent customer service while resolving hardware, software, and basic network problems.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to users via phone, service desk tickets, and in-person assistance

Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Respond to incoming service desk calls and accurately document incidents and requests

Assist users with system access, application issues, and basic device troubleshooting

Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate support teams when necessary

Deliver professional, friendly customer service while supporting end users in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Experience providing IT technical support in a service desk or help desk environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Comfortable supporting users both remotely and in person

Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively
