Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst / Data Engineer with experience in Retail POS (Point of Sale) systems to support menu management, pricing, promotions, and data quality initiatives for a large-scale retail environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple databases, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of POS data structures.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development (70%)

• Develop and maintain menu products, bundles, and promotional offerings using POS menu management tools.
• Analyze menu and pricing data from legacy database systems to accurately migrate and configure menus in a new POS platform.
• Create and maintain menu data and pricing for national promotions, regional market tests, and multi-brand initiatives.
• Participate in project planning, functional specifications, and product delivery activities.

Support (20%)

• Fulfill menu and pricing requests from business stakeholders and franchise partners.
• Support POS and digital menu data management activities.
• Resolve menu and pricing issues through service management tools while ensuring timely issue resolution.

Quality Assurance (10%)

• Perform end-to-end testing for POS, kiosk, and digital menu changes.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of menu configurations and pricing updates.
• Provide ongoing support to maintain reliable technology solutions for end users.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with Retail POS systems and menu/pricing data.
• Strong experience working with multiple databases and data structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting data migration, menu management, or pricing configuration projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a Windows PC, dual monitors, and a reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Must be available to work Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Eastern Time (40 hours/week).
• Ability to commit to a long-term contract assignment (approximately 1 2 years).
