Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Additionally, you will contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. This role involves strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Analyze and resolve multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Software Engineering challenges.
• Ensure compliance with function policies, procedures, and deliverables.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to achieve project goals.
• Participate in a Scrum team consisting of front-end and back-end developers working on retail applications.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 5+ years of Software Development experience.
• 4+ years of Android development in a team or corporate/enterprise environment.
• 3+ years of Kotlin development, including Reactive Programming, coroutines, Dependency Injection (Dagger), Retrofit, and Jetpack architecture components.
• Technical degree or equivalent additional experience.
• Experience with Android App front-end development using Kotlin.
• FinTech or banking experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience with example apps in app stores is preferred.
