Summary

We are looking for Datacenter Logistics Coordinator for our client in Hillsboro, OR

Job Title: Datacenter Logistics Coordinator

Job Location: Hillsboro, OR

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $22.00hr - $27.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Proven experience in data center operations or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware asset handling.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic cabling and connectivity standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in data centers performing in-depth analysis on servers.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical functions of basic server operations.
  • Ability to maintain a professional relationship with customers.
  • Adherence to safety protocols, compliance standards, Customer Security Standards, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving hardware deliveries, validating shipments, processing RFID scans, and updating asset status and location records.
  • Tracking assets, spares, parts, servers, storage, network equipment, drives, and optics throughout their lifecycle.
  • Managing warehouse and stockroom organization, security, housekeeping, and storage utilization.
  • Conducting physical inventory audits and resolving asset record discrepancies.
  • Supporting asset transfers, parts locker operations, RMAs, replacements, and inter-data-center shipments.
  • Coordinating end-of-life asset collection, ITAD vendor activities, secure disposal, and decommissioning.
  • Reviewing and resolving asset management tickets, including missing assets, anomalies, requests, RMAs, and disposal cases.
  • Monitoring operational metrics, dashboards, delivery SLAs, and chain-of-custody compliance.
  • Promoting adherence to data center asset management policies, workflows, standards, and controls.
  • Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.

Nice to Have:

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management tools and inventory systems.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
