PostgreSQL Database Administrator Production Support & Performance Optimization

We have an immediate need for a PostgreSQL Database Administrator at Austin, Texas, USA. This position supports critical database environments and works closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure high availability, stability, and performance of enterprise PostgreSQL platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for administering, monitoring, and supporting PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments. You will handle database provisioning, upgrades, patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and incident resolution. The role also involves collaborating with development teams during deployments, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining compliance with internal standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, database performance tuning, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies. A solid understanding of Linux environments, scripting, database security, and troubleshooting complex production issues is required, along with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
