Project Portfolio Analyst
Primary Location: Chicago, IL
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Project Portfolio Analyst for our premier client in Chicago, IL.
Education and Experience:
- 7 years’ direct work experience in an IT project management apacity, including all aspects of process
- Development and execution. 10 years’ direct experience in
- software development and supervision.
- Master's Degree in one of Computer Science, Information
- Systems or Business Administration preferred.
- PMI Certification is preferred
- Experience in developing and deploying projects best
- practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project Server, preferred.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in. project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team erect and manage project development from beginning to
- end.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to
- the success of the project.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
- Strong familiarity with financial software or project
