Volt is immediately hiring for an Equipment Maintenance Technician II in Richardson, TX working in a semiconductor fabrication area.

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician II you will:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor fabrication equipment
  • Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool break downs
  • Monitor and analyze all related tool data, make recommendations and improvements to maintenance procedures
  • Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects
  • Clearly communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings
  • Provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shift

This is a Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Two years associate technical degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering or Military electronics technician training equivalent
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred of troubleshooting
  • Strong mechanical and electronic skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills (tool upgrades, installation, decommissioning, development), problem solving ability and knowledge of SPC and how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment
  • Able to interpret electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
  • 12 hr Night shift: 6p - 6am. (Option 1: Sun, Mon, Tue & every other Sat OR Option 2: Wed, Thur, Fri & every other Sat)
  • Prior experience on the following toolsets are preferred, but not required: ASML 400XT Scanners, ASML PAS5500, TEL ACT 8 and equipment

Salary: $27/hr + daily OT pay after 8 hours + Night shift differential (approx $74,800 per year)

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
