Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with Apache Airflow expertise to support and optimize data workflows across application teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and managing Airflow DAGs, improving workflow efficiency, and supporting Airflow environments. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to streamline processes and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Airflow DAGs for data pipelines and workflows
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and implement improvements
  • Support Airflow cluster administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with application teams to integrate and support workflow solutions
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of data pipelines
  • Implement dynamic DAG generation and reusable workflow components
  • Assist in deployment processes and support CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot workflow failures and provide timely resolution
  • Document workflows, processes, and technical solutions

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow (DAG development, scheduling, monitoring)
  • Knowledge of dynamic DAG creation and workflow optimization
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD processes
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing data pipelines
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Airflow cluster administration
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience working in Agile environments
