Technical Project Manager

Role: Project Manager

Location: Bay Area, CA(Hybrid)

Summary:

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for Data Engineering, AI/ML, Generative AI, and analytics initiatives.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and success criteria.
• Drive data platform initiatives involving data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, data modeling, and enterprise data integration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable project plans.
• Establish project governance, reporting frameworks, KPIs, RAID logs, dependency tracking, and executive status reporting.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, resource constraints, and delivery escalations.
• Track project performance against milestones, budgets, resource utilization, quality standards, and business outcomes.
• Drive stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, change management, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, operational efficiency, automation, and overall project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of overall experience in technology delivery, with substantial experience managing technical projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading Data Engineering, AI/ML, cloud modernization, or analytics projects.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams and multiple project stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile delivery frameworks, project governance, risk mitigation, and executive reporting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
