data center construction projects across a North American portfolio. This role is onsite and highly hands-on, overseeing construction, commissioning, and turnover activities for both new build-outs and retrofit projects within live data center environments.

Key Responsibilities- Manage onsite construction, commissioning, and turnover of data center projects, including new build-outs and retrofits of existing data halls.
- Support the Lead Construction Manager with contractor, designer, and vendor management.
- Own the construction scope across leased data center spaces throughout North America.
- Provide day-to-day project coordination between contractors, consultants, and cross-functional partners.
- Serve as the primary onsite construction leader, building strong relationships with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and general contractors.
- Identify and drive opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and process improvement across construction activities.
- Lead project planning and scoping, including sequencing and packaging work for execution.
- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules in partnership with Project Controls and Scheduling teams.
- Manage change control, including scope changes, RFIs, and cost impacts; negotiate best pricing in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Track schedule risks and ensure predictable, reliable turnover dates, escalating risks and mitigations as needed.
- Conduct monthly WIP walks to validate work in place for invoicing and ensure progress aligns with handover requirements.
- Assist in developing capital budgets, ROM construction cost estimates, and manage monthly CapEx forecasting.
- Review weekly project status reports (financial, schedule, quality) and develop action plans as required.
- Manage Method of Procedures (MOPs) for retrofit or remedial work in live data center environments.
- Facilitate coordination between contractors, internal stakeholders, and third-party QA/QC teams.
- Lead project closeout activities and documentation.
- Promote and model a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Champion and support an industry-leading safety culture on all job sites.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7-10+ years of professional experience in construction, operations, maintenance, or project planning.
- 7-10 years of direct experience in the design and/or construction of data centers or critical infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing (MEP), and connectivity systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different phases.
- Experience with commissioning of new builds and retrofit data center projects.
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling and familiarity with Primavera P6.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills- Mission Critical or data center construction experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in large-scale, process-driven industries.
- Experience in Change Management.
- MEP experience spanning L1-L3 systems.
- Familiarity with OFCI vendor coordination and complex supply chains.

Typical Day in the Role- Review and manage design and field-driven changes from Engineers of Record (EOR) and General Contractors.
- Resolve day-to-day construction issues escalations.
- Manage RFIs, scope changes, and vendor coordination.
- Support onsite execution while maintaining schedule, cost, quality, and safety standards.
Performance MeasurementPerformance is measured through day-to-day collaboration with the Construction and Program Management teams, successful execution of assigned tasks, schedule predictability, cost control, quality outcomes, and safety performance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.
