Position: Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Optimization Specialist
Location: Radnor, PA, Charlotte, NC, Greensboro, NC, Fort Wayne, IN, Omaha, NE, Hartford, CT
Role Type: 3+ Month (Contract)
- Hands-on execution role to deep-dive, standardize, and clean up end-to-end P2P processes and controls.
- Requires direct expertise operating and configuring SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing workflows and exception routing.
- Design and refine 2-way/3-way matching rules and tolerance thresholds to drive higher touchless invoice processing.
- Streamline P2P SOX controls, build comprehensive Segregation of Duties (SoD) matrices, and ensure tax audit readiness.
- Establish a category-based purchase vehicle decision matrix (BPOs, standard POs, release orders) for Ariba deployment.
- Correct upstream ship-to data logic, defaults, and validation for high-dollar use cases to resolve sales/use tax issues.
- Ensure fixed-asset spend is properly categorized, documented, and structured for state and local tax compliance.
- Leverage advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, data cleansing) to analyze large P2P data sets and resolve root causes.
- Deliver complete operational documentation, technical configuration notes, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
