Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile Senior QA Engineer to lead the quality assurance strategy for our innovative Mobile Services platform. This is a US-based, remote, part-time contract (10 40 hours/week) designed for someone who can build automated frameworks from scratch while maintaining a high standard for manual UX/UI verification. You will be the primary gatekeeper of quality, ensuring our web and mobile applications (iOS & Android) are performant, reliable, and user-friendly.
Core Responsibilities
- Framework Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain a scalable automation test framework for both Web and Mobile (iOS/Android).
- End-to-End Testing: Execute a comprehensive testing lifecycle, including Functional, Integration, Regression, and Automated Acceptance Testing (AAT).
- CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate automated test suites into pipelines to ensure "quality at speed."
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and UX teams to translate design requirements into testable user stories and provide feedback on the mobile user experience.
- Bug Lifecycle Management: Identify, document, and track high-priority defects, working directly with the engineering team to streamline the path to resolution.
Technical Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in a Senior QA or SDET role with a heavy focus on mobile-first applications.
- Automation Mastery: Proven experience building test suites from scratch.
- Mobile Expertise: Proficiency in testing native or hybrid mobile apps. Must have physical access to both modern iPhone and Android devices.
- Web Proficiency: Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) and browser-based testing tools.
Logistics & Compensation
- Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States).
- Hours: Flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week based on project milestones.
- Equipment: Candidates must provide their own testing hardware (iOS/Android devices).
