PolicyCenter Developer (PC Developer)

Location: US Region (Remote/Onsite as applicable)
Duration: 4+ Months Contract

We are looking for an experienced PolicyCenter Developer to support critical project needs, focusing on technical debt reduction, database issue resolution, and system stabilization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving system performance and ensuring application reliability.

  • Work on technical debt reduction, including code refactoring and optimization
  • Identify and resolve database consistency and integrity issues
  • Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution
  • Contribute to stabilization activities to improve system performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, and Architecture teams
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in development, coding standards, and documentation

  • Strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development
  • Proficiency in Gosu, Java, and Guidewire framework
  • Hands-on experience with database concepts (SQL, data consistency, data fixes)
  • Experience in defect triage and production support environments
  • Good understanding of insurance domain (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working on stabilization or transformation projects
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
