  • Rapidly adjust assignments in response to shifting client demands
  • Proactively identify capacity gaps, skills shortages, and allocation risks

Workforce Forecasting & Capacity Management

  • Build and maintain rolling 30/60/90+ day resource forecasts
  • Develop scalable workforce planning models to support growth
  • Provide executive-level reporting on utilization, bench, and staffing trends
  • Support headcount planning aligned to projected sales pipeline and infrastructure demand
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales and Delivery Leadership during pre-sales cycles to validate delivery feasibility and staffing strategy
  • Work closely with PMO and Program leaders to anticipate staffing needs across complex infrastructure programs
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on hiring priorities and ramp timelines
  • Assist with onboarding and integration planning for new hires

Operational Excellence

  • Implement and continuously refine resource management processes and tools
  • Develop standardized dashboards for real-time visibility into allocation and capacity
  • Maintain comprehensive skills inventory across PMs, Architects, and Consultants
  • Establish contingency planning frameworks for demand volatility
  • Remote Workforce Leadership Support
  • Support leadership of a large, distributed remote workforce
  • Resolve allocation conflicts and priority escalations
  • Maintain strong communication rhythms across field teams and corporate leadership
  • Promote accountability and transparency in staffing decisions

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Delivery Operations within a Professional Services or Consulting environment
  • Proven experience managing large remote workforces (100+ distributed technical professionals)
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively across high-volume, fast-moving priorities
  • Strong background in IT Infrastructure, Virtualization, or Cloud delivery organizations
  • Advanced understanding of utilization metrics, revenue forecasting, and margin impact
  • Experience collaborating with PMO, Sales, Finance, and Delivery leadership
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced reporting capabilities
