REQUIRED:
An active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance is required on Day 1 and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Advanced experience with information security toolsets such as LogRhythm (SIEM), Tripwire (HIDS), Tenable Security Center, Nessus, Splunk (SIEM), Linux AIDE (HIDS), or other related Intrusion Detection Tools
Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
Advanced knowledge of current Cyber technologies and experience with NIST 800 Series and DoD 8140 / 8570 regulations, governing DISA STIGs and/or, Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
Strong working knowledge of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) concepts, to include 2-factor authentication, Public Key encryption techniques, patch management, end-point security systems, intrusion detection, security event management and defense-in-depth.
Experience in Agile methodology, Jira and Confluence.
Must possess Security Certification in accordance with DoD 8140 Basic / DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II (Security+ or equivalent) Compliant Certification.

Job Summary:
Sr. Cyber Security Engineer to join the Platform, Automation and Cyber Team supporting the operations and maintenance of custom solutions at Raytheon Aurora campus.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with DoD programs and DISA STIGs, Information Assurance (IA) Tools (ex. Tripwire, LogRhythm, Symantec AV) integration & NIST SP800-53 Risk Management Framework. The ideal candidate will have technical leadership experience and have prior experience in troubleshooting and resolving IA Integration & deployment issues for IA tools.
Work Location: Raytheon Aurora campus

What You Will Do:
Conduct research and reference reading in obtaining technical information
Resolve issues with IA Tools using technical documentation and program guidance through Jira stories and change management practices.
Communication with Leadership on task status and/or issues related to IA Tools deployment and configuration.

Qualifications We Prefer: An advanced degree in STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience. Advanced understanding and knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37. Experience with Tenable Security Center, Nessus. Self-Starter requiring limited direction and supervision. Technical Leadership experience with a small, specialized skills team. Ability to support periodic travel (less than 25%).
