Compensation: $60 - $87 per hour, depending on qualifications
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC systems within cleanroom and pharmaceutical environments. This role will focus on the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities, including load calculations and system design. The ideal candidate will ensure designs meet client requirements while maintaining energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with applicable industry codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities: - HVAC System Design: Develop detailed HVAC system designs, including ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for commercial and industrial pharmaceutical buildings.
- Load Calculations: Perform accurate heating and cooling load calculations to determine the appropriate size and capacity of HVAC systems.
- Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices in HVAC design to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.
- Project Management: Assist in managing HVAC projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.
- Compliance: Ensure all HVAC designs comply with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for HVAC systems.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections to ensure the proper installation and functioning of HVAC systems.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design and load calculations for commercial and industrial pharmaceutical buildings.
- Must have Cleanroom ME HVAC experience
- Skills: Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, TRACE), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
