Job Description

As an Infrastructure Engineer III specializing in SD-WAN, within Corporate Technologies - Infrastructure Platforms you will join our world-class engineering team focused on next-generation networking solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build a robust SD-WAN ecosystem, leveraging cloud-based management, monitoring, and analytics. Your technical expertise will drive the execution of tasks that directly affect our customers, clients, and business partners.

You will analyze complex network design requirements, capture customer intent, anticipate challenges, and deliver innovative solutions. Your ability to mitigate risks and deliver high-performance network products will be essential. By integrating your understanding of business drivers, you will help develop cutting-edge products and deliver exceptional user and customer experiences. Close partnership with multiple engineering teams will ensure network designs align with desired outcomes.

Job responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key member of the Network Engineering team, leading the architecture, evaluation, and standardization of emerging network communication technologies
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to define the current state and future direction of the technology landscape
  • Lead and contribute to the development of technical design solutions
  • Capture, analyze, decompose, and create requirements for systems, products, and subsystems of moderate to high complexity
  • Partner with business, product, and architecture teams to define next-generation SD-WAN network requirements and capabilities
  • Provide regular updates on progress for tasks and projects
  • Develop and implement project plans within budget, schedule, and resource constraints

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on, proven SD-WAN network engineering experience
  • Strong background in network analysis, design, implementation, and support within a global organization
  • Experience in product design (functional architecture, HDL, LLD), test planning and execution, and implementation with stakeholders
  • Hands-on SDWAN product level understanding and ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
  • Application of security/cybersecurity methodologies to network and systems design
  • Advanced knowledge in SD-WAN, Networking & Routing, Network Automation, and Network Virtualization
  • Experience with network management concepts for highly available and reliable services
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and tools, Proficiency in multiple infrastructure technologies
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to articulate technical design and architecture clearly to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
  • SD-WAN certification from industry-recognized organizations
