Job Overview

seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Lead to support a key engagement with Daimler Trucks in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP MM, Procurement, Supply Chain processes, and SAP S/4 HANA implementations/support environments.

This role requires strong functional expertise, client-facing communication skills, and the ability to lead solution design and support activities across SAP MM and Logistics Execution modules.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze customer-reported issues and project requirements
• Provide estimates, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments for SAP-based solutions
• Create functional specifications for support tickets, enhancements, and projects
• Perform SAP configuration activities within MM/Logistics modules
• Create functional specifications for ABAP developments
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and coordinate UAT activities
• Perform root cause analysis and impact assessments
• Provide documentation, user training, and process improvements
• Deliver SAP consulting recommendations and thought leadership

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall SAP SCM experience
• 15+ years of SAP MM implementation and support experience
• 10+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes including:
  • Pricing
  • Purchase requisition management
  • Purchase order processing
  • Inventory management
  • Supplier performance evaluation
  • ATP (Available-to-Promise)
  • Vendor & Item Master Data Management
  • EDI/SAP integrations
• 4+ years of SAP S/4 HANA experience
• Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics Execution configurations
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• SAP Project Lead experience
• Strong consulting and requirement gathering skills
• Experience participating in UI/functional design discussions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Requirements

• Hybrid onsite role – candidate must work onsite in Portland, OR three days per week
• Local candidates highly preferred
• Relocation candidates will be considered
