Job Description: EDI Developer (experience in EDI development, mapping, and support; Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and transaction sets) Toronto - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Key Responsibilities:
? Design, develop, and maintain EDI maps, transactions, and integrations (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML)
? Analyze business requirements and translate them into EDI solutions
? Configure and support EDI communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN)
? Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange
? Collaborate with business partners, vendors, and internal teams to onboard new trading partners and maintain existing relationships
? Monitor EDI transactions and perform data validation, error handling, and reporting
? Maintain documentation for EDI processes, mappings, and partner configurations
? Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
? 2+ years of experience in EDI development, mapping, and support
? Strong knowledge of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and transaction sets (e.g., 820, 824, 997, 827, 821)
? Experience with EDI mapping tools (e.g., ITX, Gentran, Sterling Integrator, Seeburger, BizTalk, or similar)
? Familiarity with EDI communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN)
? Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
? Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards)
? Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell)
? Experience with API integrations and cloud-based EDI solutions
? Understanding of banking EDI processes
