Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, technically grounded Technical Product Owner to bridge the gap between business strategy and core engineering execution. In this role, you will champion platform product delivery by driving common, reusable technical solutions to scale software services and capabilities company-wide. You will manage a multi-project, multi-priority portfolio, align global engineering teams, and enjoy the creative freedom to build hands-on proofs-of-concept. This role requires an infrastructure platform mindset to balance new feature pipelines, bug fixes, and structural technical debt while proactively managing stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Agile Ceremony Leadership: Chair, run, and facilitate critical Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives to maintain momentum.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between leadership, business stakeholders, and product managers to ingest new work and manage delivery expectations.
  • Backlog & Story Authoring: Write precise user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ruthlessly prioritize the Jira backlog to keep engineering aligned.
  • Cross-Functional Collateral: Create compelling client pitch decks and visual assets to communicate product value and project status.
  • Global Team Alignment: Run structured evening handovers and sync meetings with development teams in a different geographical location to guarantee 24-hour development cycles.
  • AI Tool Integration & Adoption: Embed AI productivity tools into daily workflows and actively champion, train, and drive AI tool adoption across engineering and stakeholder teams.
  • Data & Analytics (Occasional): Maintain monthly SDLC metrics, update leadership dashboards, and build metrics reporting to drive delivery performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications: Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM), preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years managing software product backlogs, running Agile ceremonies, and delivering scrum-based projects.
  • Facilitation Skills: Proven experience chairing and leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team retrospectives.
  • Project Multi-tasking: Proven ability to track, prioritize, and deliver concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
  • Conflict Resolution: Strong negotiation skills to handle escalations and resolve conflicting priorities among stakeholders.
  • Agile Tooling: Advanced proficiency in Jira architecture, board hygiene, and agile software development lifecycles (SDLC).
  • Data Literacy: Experience with data integration or creating engineering performance dashboards is highly preferred.
  • Technical Abilities: Comfort building hands-on proofs-of-concept (PoCs) to test creative ideas. Must have hands on software delivery experience (as a software engineer) in either AWS or Azure cloud ecosystem.
  • Global Collaboration: Flexibility to host and run Agile ceremonies during evening hours to sync with international development teams.

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship at this time.
