This is an opportunity to join a team with a goal of providing new features and functionality to iCloud customers by integrating together the client-device and cloud domains as well as provide an avenue for exploratory work as needed. Your work will involve everything from building simple-to-use User Interfaces and experiences to Client frameworks with performance and power efficiency in mind. You love collaborating within the team and equally meaningfully, with cross-functional engineering teams. In addition to crafting efficient, testable, easy-to-maintain code, you recognize the importance of writing functional specifications and design documents. As a key member on our team, you are responsible for maintaining our technology stack and for crafting new functionality. You are an extremely capable engineer who has a strong background in building high-performance, extensible systems. The successful applicant will have a strong background in system-level engineering, the vision to create foundational work and build on it to provide functionality, and the drive to successfully see tasks through to completion, Quality is number one in your mind, and you thrive on building comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests, not only for features you build but also for existing features that need more testing. \n\nOur applications are complex and strong programming fundamentals are crucial. 3+ years experience with iOS/macOS and/or web application engineering, designing and building pixel-perfect, complex, and accessible user interfaces/applications\n\nExperience defining and integrating with Web Service APIs\n\nInquisitive and highly-motivated self-starter and problem solver with a drive to integrate, communicate, and work well with large projects and teams.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing, building and maintaining high-performance systems and frameworks\n\nDeep understanding of software design patterns and software development.\n\nComfortable navigating and exploring large code bases.\n\nExcellent collaboration skills, including the ability to drive discussions to align large cross-functional teams and demonstrating ownership\n
