Business Analyst - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Business Analyst for a Remote position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in Ridgefield, CT. This is a contract opportunity.

This Business Analytics role supports multiple customer groups and therapeutic areas, requiring expertise in statistical methodologies to measure marketing impact. The position involves using sophisticated analytics for projects like marketing mix modeling, ROI analysis, customer profiling, and predictive modeling to support decision making on promotional strategies and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced analytics in support of brand planning, promotional resource allocation, and evolution of the commercial model
• Liaise between Marketing and Sales in the development of business tactics and strategies
• Execute departmental procedures to ensure marketing strategy is integrated into sales force call plans for in-person, virtual, and digital channels
• Work with internal customers to assure that analytical results are communicated and used effectively
• Build and share knowledge of analytical methodologies and high-quality vendors with others in the department
• Establish work habits to support the therapeutic business function's evolving process and execution needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of analytic experience with relevant data sources and analytical methodologies, OR Master's degree and five (5) years of experience
• Proficiency in the development, documentation and communication of analytical plans
• Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques including multivariate analytical and promotional responsiveness techniques
• Experience in conducting digital analytics (email, banner, mobile, etc.) or a demonstrated passion for digital technology
• Experience analyzing campaigns and performing in-campaign analytics to improve performance
• Experience in understanding customer needs and ensuring recommendations/results are implemented
• Experience coordinating insights from disparate sources into a comprehensive analysis
• Proficiency in R/Python and/or SAS and other data extraction and analytical tools such as SQL
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal abilities and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Must be willing to work regular business hours aligned to the EST time zone

Desired skills:

• Experience analyzing large, deidentified patient claims data sets
• Experience in Metabolic therapeutic areas such as CardioRenal Metabolic (e.g., Chronic Kidney and Heart Failure)
• Experience working within a large pharmaceutical manufacturer

Pay range: up to $97.00 per hour
