Treasure Analyst
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Senior Treasury Technology Professional is responsible for managing and optimizing treasury technology systems, with a focus on SAP Treasury solutions and bank connectivity. This role involves configuring and supporting treasury management systems, coordinating electronic bank integrations, and ensuring seamless connectivity between treasury operations and enterprise financial systems. The position requires deep technical expertise in treasury systems, payment processing, and cross-module SAP integration to drive efficiency and accuracy in global treasury operations.
SCOPE:
As part of the Pegasus project, the Senior Treasury Technology Professional will provide strategic technical leadership and hands-on expertise to enhance and optimize Kimberly-Clark's treasury technology infrastructure. This role will work across global treasury operations, partnering with finance teams, banking institutions, IT stakeholders, and business units to deliver robust, scalable treasury solutions. The position requires collaboration across time zones (Western time zone with overlap to US and LAO regions) and the ability to navigate complex, multi-entity treasury environments while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, security, and compliance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Treasury Management systems and related treasury technology platforms
- Configure and maintain Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processes within SAP, ensuring accurate and timely bank reconciliation
- Coordinate and manage bank connectivity initiatives using middleware platforms for host-to-host connectivity, working directly with banking partners on technical requirements and troubleshooting
- Design, configure, and support payment file formats including BCM, DMEE, and XML payment files and acknowledgements
- Manage currency configuration, exchange rate processes, and multi-currency treasury operations within SAP
- Ensure seamless integration between Treasury module and other SAP modules including Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and other enterprise business systems
- Provide technical expertise and support for treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and payment processing
- Lead treasury technology projects from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand treasury requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to treasury systems, bank connectivity, and payment processing
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Stay current with treasury technology trends, SAP updates, and banking industry standards to recommend system enhancements
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance) preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in treasury technology, SAP Treasury implementation, or related roles
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) module configuration and support
- Proven expertise in SAP Electronic Bank Statement configuration and bank reconciliation processes
- Experience coordinating bank connectivity using a variety of middleware platforms for host-to-host connectivity, including working directly with banks on requirements and troubleshooting
- Deep understanding of BCM, DMEE, XML payment files and acknowledgements
- Strong understanding of currencies and exchange rates within treasury systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of integration of Treasury processes with other SAP modules such as Financial Accounting, Controlling and other business systems
- Experience managing treasury technology projects in global, multi-entity corporate environments
- Track record of successful collaboration with finance teams, IT organizations, and external banking partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Quantum Treasury Management System or similar treasury management platforms (highly desired, but not required)
- SAP Treasury certification or relevant SAP certifications (SAP Certified Application Associate)
- Experience with cloud-based treasury solutions and treasury-in-the-cloud implementations
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards and bank communication protocols
- Experience with treasury risk management, hedging, and derivatives processing
- Familiarity with treasury workstation tools (e.g., Kyriba, GTreasury, FIS)
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to treasury operations (SOX, internal controls)
- Experience in a global, multi-entity corporate treasury environment
- Knowledge of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) applications in treasury operations
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance) or professional treasury certification (CTP - Certified Treasury Professional)

Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) module
- Proficiency in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and integration points
- Advanced understanding of electronic banking, payment formats, and bank connectivity protocols
- Strong knowledge of treasury operations including cash management, liquidity management, and payment processing
- Experience with ABAP debugging and user exits (beneficial for troubleshooting)
- Database and SQL knowledge for reporting and data analysis
- Understanding of APIs and web services for system integrations
