  • Manage configuration and platform changes using Git, GitLab, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Troubleshoot platform, networking, storage, and add-on service issues, including NFS, SDN, and related components.
  • Document upgrade procedures, operational runbooks, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, deployment, and engineering teams to ensure a safe and repeatable migration process.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and team members regarding upgrade planning, execution status, risks, and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''''s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of professional work experience, military experience, or specialized training.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills.
  • Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, upgrading, and supporting OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
  • Strong OpenShift platform engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting cluster upgrades, migrations, or large-scale platform modernization efforts.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting, including Bash, Ansible, and Python.
  • Working knowledge of the Kubernetes API Server.
  • Knowledge of NFS and networking fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of Git, GitLab, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across platform, networking, storage, and add-on services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
