Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of core merchandising processes in a retail environment.
  • Evaluate and recommend business requirements based on solid knowledge of merchandise capabilities.
  • Develop and communicate strategies for managing organizational information and data architecture.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance merchandising processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with technology solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on merchandise processes and their integration with ERP systems.

Skills

  • Extensive experience as a solution architect in retail merchandising landscapes.
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning, assortment planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Proficiency in using major retail platforms like O9 or Blue Yonder.
  • Proven ability to manage complex system designs and ensure adherence to technical standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting solutions to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Background in project estimation and resource planning.
  • Ability to lead software and vendor evaluations.
  • Knowledge of IT governance and strategy development.
