Client: Pharma Life Sciences

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support a fast-paced technology initiative for a leading Life Sciences client. This is a 2–3 month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance modern full-stack applications while working closely with U.S.-based brand leads and other cross-functional stakeholders. You will contribute across the frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and AI application layers, including integrations with OpenAI-compatible large language model APIs.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who is comfortable operating across the full technology stack, working in an evolving environment, and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. Candidates must be able to maintain significant working-hour overlap with U.S. business hours.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Vue, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Pinia.
Build and maintain backend services using Cloudflare Workers and Hono.
Develop and manage data solutions using Cloudflare D1 for database functionality and R2 for object storage.
Integrate applications with OpenAI-compatible LLM APIs and support AI-enabled application capabilities.
Develop, test, refine, and maintain prompts, including prompt engineering and prompt versioning practices.
Collaborate closely with U.S.-based brand leads to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Participate in solution design, technical architecture, troubleshooting, code reviews, and ongoing application enhancement.
Support application deployments, environments, provisioning, and related development operations activities.
Develop and support integrations with Veeva platforms and related Life Sciences technology solutions.
Work effectively in an agile, fast-moving environment where requirements and priorities may evolve.
Identify technical risks, recommend improvements, and contribute to scalable and maintainable engineering practices.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications

Strong professional experience in full-stack software engineering, with seniority flexible based on the candidate''s overall experience and capabilities.
Hands-on experience with Vue and TypeScript.
Experience with Tailwind CSS and Pinia.
Experience developing backend services using Cloudflare Workers and Hono.
Experience working with Cloudflare D1 or comparable database technologies.
Experience with Cloudflare R2 or comparable object storage solutions.
Experience integrating applications with OpenAI-compatible LLM APIs or similar generative AI platforms.
Practical experience with prompt engineering, testing, and versioning.
Strong understanding of modern application architecture, APIs, cloud-based development, and software engineering best practices.
Experience with deployment processes, environment management, and application provisioning.
Experience integrating with Veeva platforms or solutions.
Previous experience within the Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry is preferred.
Familiarity with Bench or a similar technology stack supporting deployments, environments, and provisioning is a plus.
Experience with Synthesia or similar AI-powered video platforms is a plus but not required.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work with significant overlap during U.S. business hours.
