Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Product Owner to support the evolution of a complex web based and telematics-focused product. In this role, you will work closely with an experienced Product Lead who owns the overarching product strategy. You will transform high level epics into clear, actionable user stories, collaborate with development teams, and support end to end delivery including hands on feature testing.

This role is ideal for someone early in their product career-someone with 2 4 years of experience or a strong internship background-who is eager to grow, comfortable working with data, and excited to support a technically complex platform in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Product Backlog & Requirements

• Translate epics into well defined user stories with clear success and failure criteria.
• Write features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team.
• Refine requirements by evaluating data, analyzing user patterns, and investigating potential solutions.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with business goals and the Product Lead's strategic direction.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with the Product Lead to support product planning, roadmap execution, and backlog grooming.
• Work with onshore and offshore development teams to clarify requirements and ensure understanding.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and validate needs.
• Communicate status updates, risks, and issues across teams as needed.

Sprint Execution & Delivery

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Provide requirement clarifications during development cycles.
• Review and test completed features to confirm they meet defined acceptance criteria.
• Support release planning and coordinate with teams on deployment readiness.

Product & Domain Expertise

• Develop a strong understanding of the product, its integrations, and the telematics ecosystem.
• Analyze system data to support decision-making and help shape new features.
• Gain expertise in complex systems, web solutions, and multi layer architectures.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 0 4 years of relevant experience (open to new graduates with internship experience).
• Ability to analyze data, investigate issues, and evaluate solution options.
• Experience converting epics into actionable user stories.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills.
• Comfort working in complex systems or technical environments.
• Willingness to travel (50% local travel; occasional travel with the India team; customer visits possible).

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience in telematics, IoT, complex web platforms, or enterprise systems.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Aha!, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools.
• Prior experience working with globally distributed teams.
