Description OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Cloud Engineer with deep experience in both
AWS and
Azure to design, build, secure, and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise applications, data platforms, and modern digital workloads. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in hybrid/multi-cloud environments and enjoys solving complex architecture challenges at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
- Lead cloud architecture and engineering initiatives including landing zones, virtual networks, IAM, policy governance, and automation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure deployment using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and reusable modules for standardized deployments.
- Optimize cloud performance, cost, scalability, and resilience across multi-cloud environments.
- Implement cloud security controls aligned with Zero Trust principles, including identity, encryption, segmentation, and workload protection.
- Collaborate with application, data, and security teams to support cloud-native and containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS).
- Drive automation, monitoring, observability, and alerting improvements using native cloud services and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud, networking, and environment issues across distributed systems.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and influence cloud best practices across teams.
Requirements Required Qualifications- 5-8+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise with both AWS and Azure, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and management services.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation/Bicep a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Deep understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, VNets, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, firewalls, load balancers).
- Experience supporting container platforms (EKS, AKS, ECS, Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, identity management, policy enforcement, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications- Professional cloud certifications such as:
- AWS Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional
- Azure Administrator or Architect
- Experience with multi-cloud governance and FinOps cost optimization.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, serverless functions, or modern data pipelines.
- Experience working in agile, DevOps, or SRE environments.
