Job Description:

US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoW intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, patch, and secure Windows and Red Hat operating systems and applications.
  • Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure and associated hardware.
  • Management of a critical mobile device network, systems, and devices.
  • Create and deploy mobile devices, settings, profiles, and certificates.
  • Monitor network, respond to incidents, and work with our mission customers
  • Review, analyze, and verify current security configuration and effectiveness in response to DoW requirements and emerging threats.
  • Achieve and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
  • Configure systems, create PowerShell routines, and make improvements to systems.
  • Develop standard operation procedures (SOPs) and system documentation.
  • Provide incident support in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to ensure quality of delivered services.
  • The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience is required.
  • BA/BS degree - may substitute additional years of experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Must meet DoW 8140 requirements and be eligible for IAT level III (SecurityX or equivalent) Certification.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in building, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and/or RHEL7/8/9.
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience with VMware vSphere, Nutanix Prism Central and virtualization technologies

Preferred Qualifications:
  • VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization certification
  • MDM vendor certification
  • Omnissa or Citrix VDI experience
  • PowerShell scripting experience
  • NetApp or other storage experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of commercial solutions for classified solutions.

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
