Job Title: Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Analyst – Record to Report (R2R)
The Oracle R2R Functional Analyst is a subject matter expert responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the Record-to-Report modules within Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role ensures that accounting transactions are recorded accurately, subledgers reconcile to the general ledger, and financial reports are delivered in compliance with company standards. The analyst will handle day-to-day support, troubleshooting, period-end close assistance, and system enhancements.
Core Responsibilities:
Production Support & Troubleshooting: Act as a functional escalation point for R2R incidents, including managing Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support.
Module Configuration & Maintenance: Configure, test, and maintain Oracle Fusion GL, FAH, FA, CM, and Intercompany modules.
Period Close Assistance: Actively assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including resolving reconciliation issues and ensuring subledger-to-ledger accuracy.
Accounting Hub (FAH) Expertise: Design and configure accounting rules, event models, and mapping sets to translate operational data from external systems into Oracle GL.
Intercompany & Cash Management: Configure intercompany eliminations and manage bank statement reconciliations/matching rules.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and enhance reports using OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Publisher.
Documentation & Testing: Maintain configuration workbooks (BR100), Functional Design Specifications (MD050), and test scripts (TE40). Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Key Requirements:
Experience: 6+ years of experience in Oracle Financials implementation or support, with a strong focus on the Record to Report (R2R) process.
Modules Experience: Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or EBS R12 (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, FAH).
Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, subledger-to-ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
Technical Skills: Experience with FBDI (File-Based Data Import), ADFdi, and SQL for data analysis.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
Certifications: Oracle Cloud Financials certification is a plus.
