QA Tester

Role Overview

The client is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to ensure product quality through comprehensive test coverage and automation. The role focuses on building automation frameworks (preferably Playwright), supporting CI/CD pipelines, and improving release efficiency in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, document, and maintain detailed and reusable test cases based on requirements and workflows
Plan and execute manual and automated testing, including regression, smoke, and functional tests
Develop and enhance automation frameworks using modern tools (preferably Playwright)
Create and maintain automated test scripts for continuous integration
Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Report on test coverage, defect trends, and automation progress
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality alignment

Required Skills (with Years)

Manual test case design and test suite creation 7+ years
Test automation (preferably Playwright) 5+ years
Programming/scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#) 4+ years
CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) 3+ years
API testing (Postman, RestAssured) 3+ years

Preferred Certifications

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
