Job Overview

The Internal Audit Technology team within the Assurance & Legal Technology Department at Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst.

This role is a hybrid of Business Analyst / Project Manager / Scrum Master, responsible for driving strategic, functional, and technical initiatives for an integrated Internal Audit platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects while collaborating with senior stakeholders across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic, functional, and technical initiatives for Internal Audit platforms
• Act as BA/PM/SM to deliver successful project outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders
• Manage complex technology projects with minimal supervision
• Analyze business requirements and translate into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions
• Adapt quickly to evolving regulatory and business environments
• Partner with UX/UI teams to design intuitive user experiences
• Ensure high-quality delivery within timelines and objectives

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of experience in technical/business analysis roles
• Strong experience delivering enterprise-level technology solutions
• Proven leadership in managing global cross-functional teams (6+ years)
• Experience integrating solutions with vendor platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Experience in multi-tenant technology solutions (preferred)
• Ability to challenge processes and drive improvements

Nice to Have

• Experience in Financial Services / Investment Banking domain
• Knowledge of compliance-related platforms
• Experience with UX/UI collaboration (wireframes, prototypes)
• Hands-on experience in:
