Role: ArcGIS Developer
Location: Downtown Brooklyn, NY 11201 Hybrid(Only Locals)
Duration: 12+ Months
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on GIS
- ArcGIS Enterprise: Deep understanding of Portal for ArcGIS, GeoEvent Server, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store.
- Application Development: Build and deploy interactive web mapping applications using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and Java, Spring Boot
- Python: Advanced scripting for geoprocessing
- SQL: Proficiency in writing complex spatial joins and queries
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- ArcGIS API for Python: Experience using this for DevOps for GIS —automating user management, content audits, and cloning environments between Dev, Test, and Production.
- ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x): Mastery of the 4.x series, particularly creating custom widgets and handling 3D visualizations.
- Web Frameworks: Proficiency in Spring Boot, React, Angular, or Vue.js is highly desirable. Most modern ArcGIS web apps (built with the Maps SDK for JS) are integrated into these frameworks.
