Job Description: We are seeking an OpenXR Application Developer to build and maintain XR applications used for visual quality evaluations on cutting-edge AR devices. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and UX partners to design, prototype, and iterate on immersive experiences across OpenXR-capable runtimes and devices. This position offers the opportunity to work on next-generation AR hardware and help shape the future of the AR ecosystem.

Typical Day in the Role 1. Develop end-to-end XR applications using OpenXR (architecture, implementation, testing, iteration). 2. Build interactive capabilities including: Input handling (controllers, hands, action sets, haptics), Scene/interaction systems (grabbing, ray interactions, 3D UI), Rendering and performance optimization (frame pacing, latency-sensitive updates) 3. Integrate platform and runtime features (tracking spaces, anchors, passthrough, scene understanding, and relevant extensions). 4. Write clean, testable, maintainable code; contribute to CI/build scripting when needed. 5. Debug runtime and device-level issues (graphics, tracking, input) and provide reproducible steps and fixes. Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering stakeholders and document designs, decisions, and tradeoffs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
