Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a Database Administrator for their project based in Tallahassee, FL.

Job Title: Database Administrator

Location: Tallahassee, FL-Onsite

Duration: Longterm

Job Description:

Job Duties and Tasks:

This resource will primarily be tasked with performing Database (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) planning and operational activities

Daily operational and database administration activities
Plan, design, implement, and support database structures
Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
Perform SQL Code reviews
Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff. This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested

Required Experience

The candidate must have skills and five (5) years of combined experience in database administration for the following databases
platforms:
Experience with IBM DB2
Proficient with SQL Server 2016 and above
Proficient with Oracle 19c and above
Experience with Azure SQL is a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
