.Net Architect with Healthcare
Project Description
Provide technical architecture for multiple applications and projects for the Office of Mental Health. This includes critical projects handling patient records and financial information.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Guide and advise development teams on software design and architecture matters.
- Provide best practices for using GIT or TFS for source control and collaboration.
- Coordinate service requests with ITS operational teams for releases and production changes.
- Provide guidance throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with other Technical Architects to create and support a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.
- Participate in business analysis and system development lifecycle activities.
- Develop applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher, including:
- ASP.NET MVC
- C#
- JavaScript
- Angular 2+
- AJAX
- HTML
- XML
- Web APIs
- WCF
- Create and maintain Oracle database objects including:
- Tables
- Indexes
- Constraints
- Triggers
- Views
- Stored Procedures
- Packages
- Perform data migration and data conversion as required.
- Work with sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI) data.
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance on debugging, troubleshooting, security, deployment, and system architecture.
- Use TFS for source code management including check-in/check-out and branching strategies.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues reported through ITSM.
- Participate in bridge calls for critical production incidents.
- Troubleshoot reports, business rules, and calculations using Crystal Reports.
- Participate in multi-agency technical meetings and architecture discussions.

• 96 Months of experience creating and interpreting:
- Technical documentation
- Business requirements
- System requirements
- Application logic implementation
• 96 Months of Oracle experience including:
- Database design
- Data modeling
- PL/SQL
- Stored procedures
- Packages
- Indexes
- Triggers
- Table creation
• 96 Months of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), including secure .NET web services.
• 36 Months of experience developing applications compliant with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
• 36 Months of experience with:
- .NET Core
- MVC application development and support
• 36 Months of experience designing healthcare applications containing HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI) data with strong HIPAA compliance knowledge.
