Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced FircoSoft Developer to join our Financial Crime (FinCrime) technology team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, customization, and maintenance of FircoSoft solutions used for AML and sanctions screening.
This role offers the opportunity to combine technical development skills with banking and financial crime domain expertise to deliver high-quality solutions and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
FircoSoft Development & Implementation
-
Design, develop, and maintain FircoSoft-based applications and solutions.
-
Work on FircoSoft products such as Firco Continuity and Firco Trust.

Deploy and configure Firco utilities including:
-
FFM (Firco Filtering Module)
-
FML (Firco Message Language)
-
DR (Decision Rules)
-
-
Develop and maintain FML and DR rules for sanctions screening and compliance requirements.
Database & Scripting Development
-
Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for application automation and maintenance.
-
Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL programs including:
-
Stored procedures
-
Triggers
-
Views
-
Cursors
-
System Performance & Optimization
-
Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance and resource utilization.
-
Participate in FircoSoft version upgrades and system enhancements.
Architecture & DevOps Collaboration
-
Contribute to application architecture and design frameworks.
-
Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to support automated deployments.
-
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
-
6-8 years of experience in software development with FircoSoft solutions.
-
Hands-on experience with Firco Continuity or Firco Trust.
-
Experience working with Firco utilities (FFM, FML, DR).
-
Strong experience writing FML and DR rules.
-
Strong Unix shell scripting experience.
-
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
-
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Domain Expertise
-
Solid understanding of Banking and Financial Crime / AML / Sanctions Screening processes.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BE / MCA / MSc IT).
