Experienced Project Manager Contractor to support Project Management Office (PMO), which serves multiple functions across the organization including investments, operations, technology, data, finance, and HR. The role is highly cross-functional and requires close collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to oversee, plan, and deliver projects effectively.
The contractor will lead projects end-to-end, including defining scope, managing timelines, resolving issues, and ensuring successful implementation. Responsibilities include organizing project teams, monitoring progress and dependencies, escalating risks, and maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders and senior leadership. The role also emphasizes facilitating meetings, managing expectations, producing clear materials, and ensuring discipline around budgets, documentation, training, and testing.
Candidates must have at least five years of investment management experience with strong exposure to project management and complex system implementations. A deep understanding of the investment operations lifecycle, asset classes, and supporting platforms is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with systems like SimCorp Dimension or Charles River, project management certifications, and strong analytical, communication, and change management skills.
