The nuclear industry is undergoing a digital renaissance, and we are looking for a
Principal AI Solutions Architect to lead the charge. This isn't your standard enterprise cloud role. You will design high-stakes AI systems that must balance the latest innovation with the most stringent safety and security requirements on the planet.
Working remotely, you will report to the Manager, Digital Security & Architecture. The ideal candidate has a "Nuclear-Grade" mindset for compliance and reliability, combined with the agility to understand the "Security for AI" revolution.
Your Day-to-Day:- Design and implement enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform platforms (Google SecOps/Mandiant)
- Create and deploy "Agentic Security" layers, using LLMs and Vertex AI to automate detection engineering and investigation lifecycles.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP)
- Translate complex regulatory requirements (NEI 08-09, RG 5.71, ISO 27001, SOC2) into actionable technical controls.
- Ensure all AI solutions adhere to global data privacy standards (GDPR/SOC2) and implement "Guardrail" systems to prevent AI hallucinations or data leakage.
- Ensure that the Google Cloud Platform platform follows Westinghouse security standards
- Improve standards for model versioning, automated testing, and deployment (CI/CD) to ensure models are updated without downtime.
- Infrastructure & Cost: Architect "Right-sized" compute solutions (GPU/TPU) and implement strategies to minimize token costs and inference latency.
- Design deep-learning architectures for "Zero-Fail" sensor monitoring across primary and secondary containment systems.
Who You Are:- 10+ Years of Cyber Experience: A proven track record spanning Managed Security Services (MSSP), Nuclear/Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and Cloud Security.
- Deep Technical Pedigree: Extensive hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Security stack (SecOps, SCC, Gemini for Security, Model Armor) or equivalent enterprise ecosystems (Mandiant/FireEye/Palo Alto).
- OT/ICS Expertise: Experience securing air-gapped environments and "live-plant" operational requirements for critical infrastructure.
- AI/ML Fluency: Demonstrated ability to secure AI workloads and use AI to reduce Mean Time to Respond (MTTR).

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $90/hour to $120/hour.
