Java Backend Developer(Exp-10 Y) with Kafka & Cassandra exp-Full time Remote

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and Cassandra to build scalable, high-performance backend applications and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build scalable and resilient Microservices and RESTful APIs.

• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.

• Design and optimize data storage and retrieval using Cassandra NoSQL database.

• Develop efficient data processing and messaging solutions.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability.

• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java backend development.

• Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Cassandra.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Good understanding of multithreading, design patterns, and secure coding practices.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms.

• Experience with monitoring tools and production support.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
