Summary

What You Will Do:

SVP, Enterprise Technology Solutions serves as the primary strategic partner to our CIO in leading the technology organization of one of the nation’s largest federally chartered credit unions. This highly visible executive role is for an individual with the ambition and capability to lead multiple high-performing groups within the IT area, and to assume broader leadership responsibilities.

The SVP oversees the daily execution of our multi-year technology capability development and delivery roadmaps, ensuring our technology solutions are scalable, secure, member-centric, and digitally enabled with rapid speed-to-market. Acting as a critical bridge between executive-level business strategy and complex technical operations, this leader delivers enabling technologies that advance organizational objectives. In addition, this role manages high-level executives across Enterprise Technology, orchestrates Enterprise Technology wide projects and initiatives, and collaborates across multifaceted departments to ensure alignment and successful execution.

The SVP collaborates with stakeholders and leads remediation of technology-related issues across the enterprise, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and risk is mitigated. Completes any other job-related duties needed to drive our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and uphold our Organization’s Values.

Executive Responsibilities
Strategic Succession & Leadership: Partners with the CIO to define the long-term technology vision. Selectively acts as the CIO’s primary proxy in Board of Directors meetings and Executive Committee sessions, while gaining institutional context and financial services acumen.

Operational Oversight: Provides leadership to a diverse IT division, with specific executive oversight over project and business application/solutions design, development, and delivery functions.

Modernization & Innovation: Appropriately leverages cloud-native architectures, best-in-industry solutions, and advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities to enhance member journey, grow revenue and drive internal efficiencies. Advances technology solutions for fraud detection and prevention. Advises and guides credit union leadership decisions to address organizational agility in a changing, competitive, and regulatory environment.

Regulatory & Risk Stewardship: Serves as a key point of contact for NCUA examiners. Ensures the credit union remains ahead of FFIEC guidelines and maintains a robust and effective security posture.

Vendor & Ecosystem Management: Manages high-value strategic partnerships, including core banking providers, critical applications, and FinTech integrators, to ensure high-functioning solutions, maximum ROI, and service level compliance.

What We Require:

Proven Leadership: 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably within a large financial institution ($5B+ in assets).

Technical Pedigree: Deep familiarity with core banking platforms, employee and member-facing technologies, cloud ecosystems, and modern API-driven architectures.

Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly preferred. Information Technology or business strategy consulting experience is of additional value.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Executive Presence: The ability to command a room of stakeholders for purposes of educating, informing and influencing, translating complex "bits and bytes" subject matter into "dollars and cents" understandability.

Financial Acumen: Advanced understanding of credit union / banking financials, including the impact of technology spend and capabilities on the Efficiency Ratio and Net Interest Margin (NIM).

Change Agency: A track record of leading large-scale cultural and technology transformations without disrupting member service or employee morale.
