Vaco is partnering with a well-known, fast-paced retail organization to hire an Executive IT Support Specialist to provide high-touch, white-glove support to senior leadership and corporate teams. This role is less about traditional ticket volume and more about presence, communication, and reliability in high-visibility situations.
You will be the go-to person for executive technology needs (mostly Microsoft O365 applications), ensuring meetings run smoothly, devices work without friction, and leaders can operate without interruption. This is a role for someone who is polished, proactive, and comfortable operating in front of senior stakeholders while still handling hands-on technical support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide white-glove IT support to executives and corporate leadership teams
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and related tools
- Support and troubleshoot conference room technology, including A/V setups, video conferencing, and live meeting support
- Ensure executive meetings run seamlessly, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they surface
- Handle device setup, imaging, and troubleshooting for laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, access management, and license assignment
- Respond to walk-up support requests and provide real-time troubleshooting assistance
- Maintain and support hardware inventory and device lifecycle management
- Assist with light ticketing workflows and escalate issues when needed
- Travel occasionally to support remote offices or company events
Required Experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or similar roles
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and environments
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and end-user issues across Windows and macOS
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical and executive users
- Experience supporting conference rooms, A/V systems, and live meetings
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presence and ability to operate confidently around senior leadership
Nice to Have
- Experience providing executive-level or VIP support
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Intune, JAMF, or similar
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira, Zendesk, or similar
- Basic understanding of networking and identity management systems
Compensation & Structure
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- Hourly rate: $30-35/hr
- Target conversion salary: $65,000-70,000 base
- Eligible for overtime based on after-hours support needs
- W2 contract through Vaco with benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
