Location: Hybrid Onsite Dallas TX, Jersey city NJ and Tampa FL
Duration: Long-term
Responsibilities:
- Define the enterprise API strategy, architecture, and governance framework.
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available API solutions using Apigee X, Apigee Hybrid, or Apigee Edge.
- Architect API gateway solutions for enterprise applications and microservices.
- Design API lifecycle management, versioning, developer portals, and API governance standards.
- Lead enterprise API modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Design RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Implement API security using:
- OAuth 2.0
- OpenID Connect
- JWT
- Mutual TLS (mTLS)
- API Keys
- SAML
- Define reusable shared flows, policies, proxies, and security standards.
- Design high-availability, disaster recovery, and scalable API architectures.
- Integrate Apigee with backend applications, cloud services, and third-party systems.
- Architect hybrid and multi-cloud API management solutions.
- Lead API performance tuning, caching strategies, throttling, rate limiting, and traffic management.
- Establish API governance, standards, best practices, and security compliance.
- Review technical designs, conduct architecture reviews, and mentor development teams.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, cloud architects, security teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support CI/CD automation for API deployments.
