Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager / Delivery Lead for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating delivery and dependencies across multiple teams for software development projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient, strategic thinker who can manage change controls, facilitate dependency and risk management, and ensure execution aligns with enterprise standards. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
- Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Support Enterprise Change Management Standards and program-level status reporting
- Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal
- Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations
- Gather and facilitate status updates for deliverables to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure execution is aligned with deliverable requirements and complies with Enterprise Change Management standards
- Support resource planning for delivery and execution
- Act as the project subject matter expert to support delivery deadlines, governance routines, and budget
- Formally manage change controls for scope, schedule, and budget targets
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7+ years of project management experience
- Must have had recent software project management experience (within the last 3 years) in a large-scale financial services environment (not infrastructure projects)
- Knowledge of Agile and waterfall software delivery methodology
- Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business
- Strong strategic thinker with proven ability to execute
- Superior communication skills with the ability to navigate a matrix management model and influence across multiple organization levels
- Strong relationship management and organizational skills
- Process-oriented with experience navigating corporate policies and procedures
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of SDLC
- Willing and able to work after hours when required to support multiple time zones
Pay range: $52.10 - $60.10 per hour
