The IT Developer reports to the Director of Software Development and assists with the configuration, development, and enhancement of internal software applications and system integrations.


This role will support a short-term surge in development demand and will contribute across several internal systems, integrations, and applications used throughout the company.

  Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications used throughout the organization, including enhancements to existing internal systems.

• Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using APIs and other data exchange methods.

• Contribute to both backend and frontend development efforts across the company’s application environment.

• Support enhancements and updates to existing and .NET-based applications.

• Contribute to newer application development usingmodern frameworks such as React and Next.js.

• Write, modify, and optimize queries and data structures using Microsoft SQL Server.

• Assist with vendor data integrations and development of internal endpoints used to manage vendor communications.

• Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices to deliver reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

• Coordinate change management and testing efforts with IT Technical Support and other internal teams.

• Document application functionality, dependencies, and technical changes as needed.

• Identify performance issues and recommend improvements to software applications and integrations.

• Conduct research on emerging technologies and development tools that may improve development efficiency.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support business and development needs.
  
  
  
  Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management

Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of
education and experience.

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a software development role.
• Experience developing applications using C# and the

.NET framework.

• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience building or supporting API integrations

between systems.

• Experience working in a collaborative development environment.
  
  
  Qualifications

• Experience working with applications.
• Experience with React or Next.js for frontend development.

• Experience working in a full-stack development environment.

• Familiarity with Azure API Management or similar integration tools.

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot or similar) to improve development efficiency.
  
  
  
  
  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and enterprise application environments.

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database development and query optimization.

• Knowledge of C# programming language and the .NET framework.

• Ability to contribute across multiple areas of the development stack and quickly adapt to changing project needs.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple development tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate professional discretion.

Years of Experience:

Total years of experience developing or maintaining web applications

Total years of experience working in a full-stack development environment (backend + frontend)

Total years of experience using modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar JavaScript frameworks)

Total years of experience performing application integrations with vendor systems or third-party APIs

Total years of experience working within enterprise software development environments using SDLC practices and source control (Git, CI/CD, etc.)
