Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.
• Lead automation testing activities across web and API-based applications, ensuring high-quality and reliable software releases.
• Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Build Selenium-based automation scripts using Java and implement reusable Page Object Model (POM) components.
• Develop BDD automation frameworks using Cucumber, including feature files, scenarios, step definitions, hooks, and reusable test utilities.
• Perform comprehensive API testing using Rest Assured, validating HTTP methods, status codes, headers, request/response payloads, authentication, and business validations.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins to support continuous testing and automated execution.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, troubleshoot automation issues, and collaborate with development teams for defect resolution.
• Implement data-driven and parameterized testing approaches to validate applications across multiple datasets and environments.
• Establish automation best practices, coding standards, framework architecture, reusable libraries, and reporting mechanisms.
• Mentor QA engineers and provide technical guidance on Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and API automation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Maintain test documentation, automation metrics, execution reports, defect tracking, and overall QA status.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, framework scalability, and test reliability.
