Summary

JOB SUMMARY This role is responsible for transforming ideas and concepts into compelling visualizations for internal leaders, partners, and customers. The individual will turn visions into concepts and then into designs that demonstrate simplicity, despite system complexity. This position involves delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes, and visual designs for projects, functioning within a cross-functional design team that utilizes a user-centric design methodology for web and mobile applications. Collaboration with designers, UI Architects, Product Management, and Development teams is key, along with assisting in mentoring and supporting the team. Responsibilities include working on moderately complex projects, collaborating on business concepts and solutions, refining client requirements, and communicating analysis and design recommendations. The role also supports staying updated on usability trends and researching best practices in application design, while adhering to standards and processes and collecting UX metrics. Key Responsibilities Visualize ideas and concepts effectively for various stakeholders. Translate visions into concepts and designs that emphasize simplicity. Deliver User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes, and visual designs. Develop new and derivative user interface designs for web and mobile applications using a user-centric methodology. Collaborate with designers, UI Architects, Product Management, and Development teams. Assist the lead in mentoring and supporting the team. Work on moderately complex projects and tasks. Collaborate with business development, research and prototyping, and product management to define future business concepts and solutions. Collect, review, and assist in refining client requirements. Communicate analysis, recommendations, and potential design solutions verbally and through documentation. Stay on top of new trends in usability. Research best practices in Web, Desktop, and Mobile application design. Adhere to standards and processes. Collect UX metrics to measure the impact of design changes. Participate in user studies and research. Document user stories and problem statements. Conduct information research through data collection. Execute concept and usability testing. Independently create UX designs. Participate in brainstorming sessions on design with stakeholders. Become familiar with customer product branding schemes. Create required documentation for project releases. Provide status reporting to the team lead. Document best practices for team members. Mentor junior team members. Seek information on issues impacting progress. Assist in tracking project progress. Assist in maintaining metrics. Required Qualifications Ability to provide UX/UI design and solutions. Ability to break down complex tasks into logical components. Ability to follow high level of business etiquette in emails and other business communication. Ability to ask proactively for help and offer help proactively. On-time delivery with high quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with any of the usability testing tools or services. Proficiency with any of the wireframing/prototyping tools. Knowledge of Usability Design Principles. Knowledge of Wireframes/Prototyping. Knowledge of Data & Info Visualization. Knowledge of appropriate Design Skills and Tools. Knowledge of the business domain. Knowledge of Agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Assists the lead in mentoring the team. Share the best practices in team.
