Title: SAP BASIS Technical Migration Architect
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Migration Architect to lead the technical strategy for a large-scale ERP modernization initiative. This program will consolidate multiple legacy SAP ECC systems into a single, modern S/4HANA platform.
The architect will be responsible for defining and guiding the technical migration approach while ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability. This role will work closely with functional, data, and infrastructure teams to support a successful S/4HANA transformation.
Description:

Lead the end-to-end technical migration strategy from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
Design and govern system architecture, landscapes, and transport strategies
Oversee system conversions, upgrades, and custom code remediation (SPAU/SPDD)
Guide technical decisions related to SAP Basis, ABAP, interfaces, and integrations
Ensure alignment with SAP best practices, performance, and security standards
Collaborate with functional, data, and testing teams for integrated delivery
Provide technical leadership during cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization

Requirements:

Deep expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA technical architecture
Proven experience leading large-scale S/4HANA migration programs
Strong knowledge of SAP Basis, system landscapes, and technical tools
Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear guidance
Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
